This Can't Be Happening

"We need Dr. Moore to ICU room 3. Dr. Moore to ICU room 3." Nicki began crying because she knew that was the room they'd taken her daughter to.

"Mommy it's okay. Please stop crying. She's gonna be okay. I know it." Bri held her mother while she tried to hold her own tears in.

"Brieeeeelllllleeeee" Brielle turned around and saw her God Sister, Kyra.

"Kyra! Hey pooh!"

"Hey little pooh. Hey Nic." she walked over to Nicki and held her tight. "She's gonna be fine. Don't worry Auntie!" she kissed her cheek and gave her another hug.

"Thank you Ky."

"I love you guys. I'll be right back. I gotta tell my mom I'm here with you."

"BriBerry..." she turned from her mom and came face to face with D'ara

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE?!?!"

"Bri. Let her talk." Nicki wiped her face and held Bri closer to her just in case.

"Thank you NikaBear I mean... Ms.Nicki. Brielle.. I came to apologize. I didn't know that was your boyfriend. I promise on my life I didn't. I also came to comfort you guys. That's like my little sister in there. Please let me.."

"How did you not know that was my boyfriend? And you can stay. She would love that."

"Nicki can I talk to her?"

"Sure. Imma go check to see when we'll be able to go in Mari's room. be good you two."

"Yes ma'am."

"Little cousin?"

"Kyra what you doin here cuz?"

"So yall know each other?"

"Yep." D'ara and Kyra said simultaneously.

Nicki smiled as she walked away. From that, she knew everything was going to be fine... maybe even better than before. She grabbed Safaree's hand and pulled him with her to the nurse at the desk.

"Can we get any type of information on Kamari Samuels? Is she okay? Can we see her?"

"Ma'am... I'm so sorry. They couldn't save her. There was nothing they could do. The doctors have actually been looking for you two."

"Yo... Dad... Mom... this can't be happening..." Bri ran to D'ara and Kyra crying.

"WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO? THIS IS THE TYPE OF SHIT THEY'RE TRAINED FOR!!"

"Nic... baby calm down. I know exactly how you feel but going off on them won't fix anything. Trust me."

"Safaree I just... that's my baby! What the fuck am I supposed to do?!"

"Ma'am, what's the problem?"

"I JUST LOST MY DAUGHTER!! WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN WHAT'S THE PROBLEM??"

"You're the parents of Kamaria Smith?"

I Need You To Survive.

"It's okay, Kamari baby!! Cough it up, you're not gonna get any better if you don't!" The next week was terrible. Mari was coming down with a really bad cold, Safaree's job was working him like hell, and Bri was tied up with so much school stuff.

"Muhmi eh hur!" Mari cried wailing her arms everywhere.

"I know, baby. I know." Nicki was persistently coughing her back and giving her medicine as it was needed. But, with Mari being one.. the struggle was real.

"I wan daddy!!" She cried.

"Kamari, stop! Be a big girl! Daddy is at work. He made you an appointment." Nicki said. He was currently the Vice President of Kay Jewelers and was working non stop. Brielle was just now getting home from school at this time as she walked through the door.

"Ma, we can hear her all the way outside!!" Bri sighed, dropped her bag by the couch, and made her way to the kitchen to get a snack.

"Not now, Brielle." Nicki rolled her eyes. "How did you get home. anyway? I could have sworn you told me you were staying after school?"

"Jamie's mom took me home."

"I don't know who that is. You're responsible enough to know I don't want you getting rides from friends I don't know!" Nicki snapped.
"Okay, sorry. It won't happen again. Promise." Brielle forced a smile and made her way to her room.

Soon after, Safaree called Nicki.

Nicki: Hey baby.
Safaree: Wussup?
Nicki: Comforting your daughter. Did you schedule that appointment like I asked you too? Her cough has gotten really bad.
Safaree: Oh shit! I am so sorry. I forgot!
Nicki: *sighs* Safaree!! Now they're not open until Thursday evening and we can't wait that long. How can you possibly forget and I drilled it in your head? What if she has the damn flu?
Safaree: Ughh. Look. I'm sorry. Take her to the hospital. And she doesn't have the damn flu, you're overreacting.
Nicki: No I'm not paying 100 dollars to go to the hospital. She doesn't have a pediatrician there! How am I overreacting, Safaree? She's been coughing for hours on end, the medicine isn't working, her fever is above high, and she keeps sneezing. Thats what you call overreacting?
Safaree: Bye Nicki *click*

Kamari was still crying her eyes out but this time it was even louder. So, Nicki decided to take her up to her  room and to lay her down for a nap. Hopefully, that will make her feel better. She turned on a pink sound soother above Mari's crib. It always helped.

"Finally." Nicki whispered to herself. She was pissed off at Safaree. This was the most pissed she's been at him in a long time. He never forgot things. But, of course he forgets something as big as this. Brielle came running down the hallway into Mari's room out of no where.

"Mama, can I please get my phone back? It's been like 3 days!" She begged.

"No! You're not getting it back anytime soon, not after the way you disrespected your principal. You can only get your computer back for school stuff." Nicki looked at her like she was stupid.

"Well, I need the laptop for this essay that has to be typed! It's on the Civil War."

"Okay. I believe you. It's on the dresser next to my bed." She rushed downstairs to her mother's master bedroom. Fuck is an essay? She was only using it to get on facebook and twitter. Piece of Cake. All she had to do was delete the history.

Safaree came home about 30 minutes later and Nicki was struggling to feed Kamari.

"Daddy!!" She yelled.

"Hi, princess!" He took off his suit and sat next to Nicki. "I don't get a hi?" He asked.

"No." She rolled her neck.

"You still mad at me, baby?" He leaned in for a kiss but Nicki rejected it.

"Mad? I'm pissed!" She threw away the food that Amari was done eating.

"I forgot. Big deal." He threw his hands on the table and raised his voice.

"BIG DEAL, SAFAREE? YOU'RE DAMN RIGHT THIS A BIG DEAL."

"WHY COULDN'T YOU CALL YOURSELF?"

"BECAUSE I ASKED YOU TO DO IT!" She slammed the refrigerator getting a cup of orange juice.

Brielle came downstairs to return her laptop.

"Are you guys done fighting?" She asked.

"Yeah, my bad." Safaree said.

"Yeah, your bad!" Nicki replied.

Brielle rolled her eyes.

"Anyway, when is dinner gonna be done?"

"I don't know. Go check on your sister, please and thank you." Nicki was aggravated as shit.

"Don't take it out on her, Nicki." Safaree said.

"I'M NOT!" She yelled and Kamari started crying and coughing.

"Great!" Safaree got up and changed her diaper but she was still crying. He tried suctioning out the mucus but it still didn't help.

"God, she's burning up!" He took her temperature and it was 100.4 degrees. "Get the car, we're taking her to the hospital!"

"Wait, Faree. You're moving to damn fast. What is it?"

"100.4."

"God, I'll get the car." Nicki sighed. "Brielle, come down here now! Safaree, get the car seat please."




They all got in the car and rushed their way to the hospital with Mari still crying.

"What's wrong? Why can't we figure it out Faree?" Nicki started to cry.

"It's okay Nicki." They were stuck at a red light for about 3 minutes. So, Safaree decided to run it.

"We'll be getting a ticket in the mail." Brielle said looking back.

"Bri.." Safaree said looking at her through the rearview mirror.

"K. Sorry. I'll shutup now." They pulled into the  hospital parking lot at CHLA. 



- In The Hospital -

"Child's name?" The clerk at the front desk asked.

"Kamari Marie Samuels" Safaree said pulling out his insurance card.

"Thank You. You guys are going to have to wait over there for a doctor."

"How long?" He asked.

"45 minutes to an hour!"

"Uhm, we don't have all day. I'm sure you have a doctor on this floor who isn't busy." Nicki pointed out.

"No, I'm sorry. You have to wait just like everyone else."

Nicki turned around and there were 5 people already sitting down.

"Safaree, we don't have time for this shit! If you would have called the lady like I asked we wouldn't be here!" She raised her voice.

Kamari started crying louder and louder and then she stopped and wouldn't whine, wimper, or make any noises.

"Mari?" Nicki shook her and she didn't respond!!

"Kamari!!" She shook her again and no response.

"Shit!"Safaree said through her teeth.

"We need a doctor on level 2 immediately!" yelled the clerk into the intercom from her desk.

She came over and grabbed Kamari from Nicki's arm and immediately made her to a room.

"You two the parents? Follow me."

Safaree held Nicki as they made their way down the halls.

"Faree, I'm scared!" She wimpered.

"It's gonna be okay... it's gonna be okay." He promised.

Family Day

Nicki walked into the kitchen holding Mari and put her in her highchair. She walked to the cabinet , stood on her tippy toes and got the oatmeal. 


"MOMMY SHORT!!!!!" Mari yelled. Nicki looked back at her and rolled her eyes.She walked over to the counter and poured it in a bowl and filled it with water and put it in the microwave. She walked over  to the refrigerator. Before she opened it she looked at the paper on it under a pink magnet Safaree had got her. It was Brielle's report card she had brought home a week before. She looked at it and thought about how Brielle ALWAYS got straight A's. Brielle was a very smart child. She was very helpful around the house. She was quiet and had very few friends she talked to. She didnt really care. She didnt take the negative comments about her to the heart. 

Nicki thought a out how blessed she was to have a daughter like her. There were girls her age walking around pregnant , smoking , drinking ,  messing around fucking with boys , and being fast ass hoes. Brielle did NONE of this. Nicki thought back to when she had times like this with her mother. Nicki knew that when she always to be mad and her mother used to try to talk to her while she was upset she would raise her voice at her mother too. She thought about how mad her mother use to make her. She never gave her a chance to calm down before she started questioning her. Nicki now started to feel bad for what happened earlier because now that she thought about it, she knew that Brielle would NEVER raise her voice at her on purpose. The microwave sounded and Nicki put the paper back on the fridge and got the milk. She took the bowl out of the microwave and poured some milk in it. She put a little sugar in there too. She stirred it all up and sat the bowl in front of Mari. Nicki tried to feed her but Mari kept pushing Nicki's hand so Nicki let her feed herself.

"Baby blow it ... its hot.." With that being said Mari blew it with slobber and spit coming out of her mouth. Nicki scrunched up her face at her and went and sat down at the island. Nicki's mind drifted back of to Brielle. She thought about it and a single tear ran down her face. She felt bad because the same thing happened between her and her mom before. She played the way Brielle looked at her before walking up the steps and more tears started to come. She really didnt mean to hit Brielle that hard she felt bad after she did it but she really didnt care at the time, she knew it'd come back to her. She had to go talk to her daughter.  

"Mommy will be right back, eat all your oatmeal like a big girl okay?" Mari shook her head yes and Nicki walked out of the kitchen. Nicki walked up the stairs to Brielle's door and stood there. She heard her little sobs and sniffles which broke her heart. She didnt like the fact that Brielle was crying. She opened the door and looked straight over at Brielle who had her head burried in her pillow, she didnt look up. Nicki went over to her and sat on her bed. She placed her hand on her back and rubbed it as Brielle continued crying. Nicki pulled her pillow motioning her to get up. Brielle sat up and Nicki pulled her into her chest and kissed her forehead. Brielle spoke up. 

"Im sorry ma." Nicki shushed her. 

"Its okay baby, I understand you were mad." Brielle cried. 

"Mommy NO that was MAD disrespectful, I shouldnt have did that! But for some reason I CANT hold in my anger in when Im mad no matter who Im talking to." Nicki listened to her. That was Safaree ALL OVER. Whenever Safaree was mad whoever said anything to him would get cussed out, no matter who they are, including Nicki. It was something he couldnt control. And if its one thing Brielle gets from Safaree, that was it!!! 

"Baby I didnt mean to hit you like that either, Im sorry."

"its okay ma, but i really shouldnt have yelled at you. Im so sorry." Brielle hugged her mother.

"Get ready, lets go out for ice cream." Nicki said. 

Nicki left the room and walked to her room. She walked to the bed to wake Safaree up. She tickled his ear with her nail and he jumped straight up. Nicki laughed at him.

"Faree."

"What?" 

"I couldnt punish her, I apologized. I use to do that. She has that thing you have when you lash out at people that try to talk to you when you're mad."

"Nic you hit her HARD!! You needed to apologize." Safaree said. 

"I did, huh?" 

"Yea." 

"I apologized but she aint getting her stuff back cus she was mad disrespectful to that principal." Nicki said.

"I agree. She dont need it!"

"Were going to get Ice cream, GET UP!!!!!" Nicki said looking down at him kissing his BIG forehead. 

"Safaree you have a big ass head yo!".

"Leave me alone, where's Kamari? It's 11:30am, why you letting her sleep this late? She aint gunna take her nap when its nap time. Go wake her up!" Safaree smacked Nicki's ass.

"Oh shit I left her down stairs in her highchair eating oatmeal, she probaly made a mess." Nicki said running out the door and down the steps to the kitchen. When she got there Mari was sitting there oatmeal EVERYWHERE!!. Her bowl was on the floor and she had the spoon hanging out of her mouth. 

"MUNCHKIN!!! You made a big mess." Nicki said taking the spoon out of Mari's mouth.

"Mommy I finish"

"I see!" Nicki picked the bowl up off the floor and started cleaning the mess up. Brielle came down stairs dressed and walked to the highchair and got Mari. "Hey Ma- ew dont touch me with your messy hands." She say Mari back down.

"Hi BB.." Mari said trying to throw oatmeal on her. Nicki looked at them.

"Stop Munchkin." Nicki said to Mari. She did it again and Safaree came in the kitchen and over to Brielle and hugged her. 


"I love you " He said to her 


"I love you too daddy." Safaree kissed her cheek. 


"I WUV YOU  DADDY!!!!" Mari screamed reaching up to kiss him. 


"I love you too babygirl." Safaree kissed her and she had her arm around his neck, she didnt want to let go but she did.


"I LOVE YOU ZADDY!!!!!" Nicki screamed from across the kitchen. Safaree walked over to her. 


"I LOVE YOU TOO BABY!!" Safaree mocked Nicki. They laughed. Nicki stood on her tippy toes and pecked his lips. 

"Okay you little Munchkin, its time to get you cleaned up." Nicki picked up Mari and went upstairs. She wen into the bathroom and got Mari's Dora wash cloth put soap on it and washed Mari off. She got a towel off of the shelf and wrapped Mari in it and carried her to her room. She got a diaper out of Mari's closet and put it on her and her t-shirt.


"What do you wanna wear Munchkin?" Mari pointed to her pink, blue, and purple tutu.


"Okay!" Nicki got the tutu and put it on Mari. There was a pink and purple headband with it and a pink shirt. Mari wore pink sandals. "You ready?" Mari shook her head yes. Nicki picked her up and walked downstairs. "We're going to get ice cream."


"I CWEAM!!!!" Nicki laughed. Safaree and Brielle was waiting on the couch, Nicki got to the bottom of the steps and put Mari down so she can walk.


"Why she got that on?" Safaree asked.


"Cus, thats what she wanted to wear." Nicki got the car keys and they all headed out the door. Nicki picked Mari up to put her in the car seat. When Nicki shut the door Mari started to cry. She wanted Nicki to sit in the back with her. Brielle got in the car and tried to stop Mari from crying but she kept pushing her away.

"Stop being mean Munchkin!" Nicki sat in the back and Brielle sat in the front and they drove to ColdStone to get ice cream.

**At Cold Stone

Mari was running around this store. Nicki was tired of chasing her.

"Safaree get your child." Nicki sat down and Safaree got Mari.

"You're so bad. I wonder who you get it from." Safaree side eyed Nicki.

"You she dont it from me, i wasnt a bad child. What kind of ice cream yall want?" Nicki said.

"I want strawberry." Brielle said.

"Shawberwy." Mari mocked Brielle.

"We're getting Mari vanilla and I want cookies&cream." Safaree didnt want any ice cream. He went to the counter and told the lady what they wanted she got it, he paid for it and they left the store. Nicki sat in the backseat and fed Mari her ice cream. When they got home she wiped Mari off again and now it was naptime. Brielle pu her in Nicki's ice cream in the freezer then went in her room. Mari, Safaree, and Nicki was in their room. Nicki was laying in bed holding Kamari while she was falling asleep. Safaree took off his stuff and got in bed too. He wrapped his arms around them and her fell asleep too.

No She Didnt (Part 2)

They got home , Safaree went upstairs so he could tell Nicki what happened but she was sound asleep. He went back downstairs, Brielle was on was on her way up.
"Naw, go back down." She turnes around and went back down the steps. She sat on the couch, Safaree sat next to her.
"I'm not even gunna say anything to you about it. I'm just letting you know that I'm gunna tell your mother about how disrespectful you were, so you better be ready to talk." Safaree got up and and made his way upstairs. He was ready to go back in his bed and go to sleep but while her was walking he heard noise in Mari's room. She was sitting up on the bed crying, he went to go pick her up and he gave her her pacifier and he carried her to him and Nicki's room. Nicki was knocked out, he sat on his side of the bed abd was rocking Mari so she could go back to sleep. Her eyes were closed so he laid her in the middle then he laid on the end. Mari was acting like she was sleep, Safaree's eyes was closed but he wasn't sleep. Mari sat up and started playing with Nicki's eyelids and started to kiss Nicki all over her face, drool was running down Nicki's face. Nicki woke up.
"Eeeeww Mari." She wiped the drool off.
"Mommy up, mommy up."
"Yes I'm up, you woke me up." Safaree opened his eyes and looked over at them. Kamari now had her arms around Nicki's neck. Safaree pulled her away.
"Hey I thought you were asleep you little rascal." He started to tickle her. She slid off of the bed and went into her room to play with her toys, Nicki sat up.
"Sooo what happed at the school?" She asked.
"Okay so she was fighting D'ara, I don't know why and I didn't ask her any questions, ima let you deal with it."
"Okay, that's it?"
"Oh no, she cursed out the principal and was being very rude."
"Wait what? Brielle Samuels? Cursing out an adult? Hell no!" Nicki got up out of the bed and put on her robe and footies. Safaree just laid back down.
"DANAE!!!!" Nicki yelled. You could tell she was mad because she called Brielle by her middle name. She walked to Brielle's room but she wasn't in there so she made her was downstairs.
**Downstairs with Brielle
"Yes?" She answered Nicki, she knew she was in big trouble.
"Why were y'all fighting? I thought she was your bestfriend." Nicki was standing at the bottom of the steps.
"I thought she was too. She's the one Davon was cheating on me with."
"What?"
"Yup!"
"Well enough of that, he's gone. Fuck him."
"I guess."
"Now what happened when you was in the office?"
"Nothing didn't happen, I juss sat there and waited for someone to pick me up."
"So you're lying?" Nicki already knew what happened she juss wanted Bri to tell her herself. Brielle didn't say anything.
"Since when did you start cursing at adults and being disrespectful? You know I don't play that shit!" Nicki walked over and smacked her.
"I'm sorry ma."
"Don't apologize to me. Why did you do it?"
"I was mad."
"I don't care, that still don't give you the right to curse and be disrepectful to an adult. Try again." Brielle didn't say anything.
"You better say something Brielle. I'm not in the mood."
"I TOLD YOU I WAS MAD!!!" Brielle yelled at Nicki. She got up to go to her room. Nicki smacked her and she fell to the floor.
"WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU YELLING AT???? DON'T EVER IN YOUR LIFE RAISE YOUR FUCKING VOICE AT ME AGAIN!!!!" This woke Safaree up, he ran downstairs.
"What's goin on."
"She yelles at me, I'm bouta fuck her up!" Nicki said.
"You did what Brielle??"
"I didn't mean to, I'm juss really mad."
"So what don't ever yell at your mother, do you understand?"
"Yea."
"Wait, what?"
"Yes." She got off the floor to walk to her room.
"Bring me your phone, iPad, laptop, and iPod and go in your room. Don't come out until I tell you to and I mean it! I can't believe you." Nicki said to Brielle.
Brielle went upstairs to get her stuff and brought it back downstairs to Nicki, Mari came downstairs behind her.
"Daddy me hungry." She hit Safaree on the leg.
"You can go back to sleep babe." Nicki told Safaree.
"You want some oatmeal Munchkin?"
"Yes mommy." Nicki made Mari oatmeal.

No She Didnt (Part 1)

Brielle went straight over to D'ara and punched her in her face. "YOU FUCKIN BITCH, YOU WAS SUPPOSE TO BE MY BESTFRIEND!! I TRUSTED YOU!!" Brielle now had D'ara on the floor kicking her.  Everyone was jumping around and recording on their phones, the teacher was running late. Brielle got from off of D'ara and walked out of the class only to have D'ara pull her back by her hair and starting to punch her. The teacher walked into the classroom, she saw them fighting and broke them up.

"Both of you young ladies, go to the office NOW!" She let Brielle go first. She called down there so they could let them know when Brielle gets there so she could send D'ara.

**In the office

Principal: Why are yall here?

Brielle: I juss whooped her ass.

D'ara: She didnt whoop my ass, but yea we was fighting.

Brielle: Thats none of your business, call my fuckin mother.

Brielle rolled her eyes.

Principal: You're very rude and you have a nasty mouth.

Brielle: I dont give a FUCK! Call my mother.

Brielle dont know why she was cursing at the principal and being disrespectful because she knew Nicki didnt play that.

The principle called Nicki. "Hi, may I speak with Ms. Samuels please?"

"This is she." Nicki said. She wondered why the school was callin her this early. She JUST dropped Brielle off. She had just got finish putting Mari to sleep and she was now laying in bed. Safaree was sleep.

"This is the principal from Woodlawn High School, im calling because your daughter Brielle got into a fight today and she's sitting right here in the office, she has to leave."

"Fighting who?" Nicki asked.

"D'ara Starkes." Nicki made a face at the phone. From what she knew Brielle and D'ara was best friends, why the hell were they fighting?

"Okay, im on my way."

**At The House

Nicki was mad she had to get out of bed to go back up that dumb ass school. "What the fuck man." Nicki said getting out of bed, she started to put her sweatpants back on. Safaree heard her, he looked up.

"Whats wrong?"

"Your daughter, she was fighting. I have to go pick her up." Nicki started to put her shoes on. She was mad because she was tired and she really didnt feel like it.

"No. i'll go. Lay back down." Safaree got up and Nicki took her stuff back off and got into bed.

He went into the bathroom relieved himself and brushed his teeth. He came out and threw on some sweat pants and he sneakers. He walked out of the room and went downstairs. He got the keys off the table and left.

**Back at School

Safaree walked up behind Brielle in the office. "Whats the problem?" The principal told him everything and she told him how Brielle was being disrespectful and and cursing at her, Safaree looked at Brielle. She knew she was in trouble. After the principal was done tellin him he nodded his head. "Getcha shit, lets go."

I Thought She Was My Bestfriend

After Brielle got her dinner she was walking to the stairs and Safaree whispered trying not to wake Nicki and Mari up. 


"Bri... you not sleep?? You have school tommrow!!!!"

"Im gonna go to sleep as soon as I finish eating.."


"Ohkay.."


"I love you daddy!!!"


"I love you to ... goodnight babygirl". She smiled. She loved her dad. 

Safaree went back to sleep ...

Brielle was beyond pissed. She turned all the lights off , the TV and her laptop and cried herself to sleep. 

The next day ...

Nicki woke up and Mari and Safaree was still sleep. She sat up still holding Mari putting her down on Safaree's chest. 

She went to go wake up Brielle. 

She knocked on the door ... "Babe..."."Yes?..." She opened the door "Its time to wake up!!!"."Ohkay" ...

Bri was already up and had already took a shower and was now putting her clothes on. 

Nicki thought it was wierd but she thought nothing of it and went to freshen up and start her day. 

Bri had planned to fight D'ara today in school. She had on some sweatpants , a all white fitted t-shirt , and some jordans Safaree had bought ... Her hair was in a cute messy bun and she had on some perfume from bath & body works. 

She sat on her bed with her iPhone and was on her mothers pandora listening to "Come On A Cone" she opened her twitter app and tweeted.

She was walking down stairs towards the kitchen ... and she stopped to see her father and sister still sleep. 

She hit her father in the face with a couch pillow ... "GET UP!!!!" She yelled playfully. Safaree jumped up. 

Mari also woke up due to him moving so much. 

"Get ya sister!!!" He said annoyed cause she woke him up. Brielle laughed. She walked over and picked Mari up off the couch and headed towards the kitchen. 

She sat Mari in her high chair and asked "You want something Mari?"."CHEEWIOS!!!!!" Bri laughed. "I knew it!!!!" 

She went in the cabinet and got them and poured some out on her tray. 

"Thank you BB !!!!!!!"."Your welcome Mari ... I love you!!!" She said bending down kissing her cheek. "I wuv you to BB !!!!"

Brielle poured herself a bowl of cheerios and sat at the table and ate. She tried to carry a conversation with Mari but they didnt get anywhere with their conversation .. as always. 

Nicki came into the kitchen ... "GOODMORNING BABIESSSSSSSSSS !!!!!!!!!" Nicki yelled ratchet. 
"Goodmorning Ma!!!" Bri said. 
"MOONING MOMMY !!!!" Mari said. Nicki and Brielle laughed at the way she pronounced morning. 

There was NO SIGN that Brielle was upset in anyway. Nicki thought she had gotten over the situation... Little did she know ... 

30 minutes later ...

"Bye mommy!!!" Bri said getting out of the car in front of the school. "Byeeee BB !!!!" Mari yelled from the backseat. 
"Bye Mari ... I love youuu !!!"

"BRI!!!" Nicki yelled. 


"Yes?".She turned around looking. 


"Give me a kiss !!!" 


"Maaaaaa...." 


"COME ON !!!!"


"Your embarrasing!!!"


"I DONT CARE ... GIVE ME A KISS!!!". She leaned in the window and kissed her mother on the cheek. 


"Ohkay now go !!!!" Nicki said.


 "NOOOOOOOOOO BB I WANT A KISS TOO !!!!!". She sighed. Nicki rolled down the window so she could give Mari a kiss. She kissed Mari and was on her way. 

In Brielle's first perios class ... "HEY BRI ..." D'ara said walking up to Brielle. "BITCH ...."

The Talk

Nicki's POV

I cant believe that damn child was crying like that but as soon as Safaree gets here she stops. *dead face* Im goin up here to talk to Bri because she seemed like she had an attitude when I called her down in to get Mari.

No ones POV

Nicki: *knocks on Bri's door*

Bri: What?

Nicki: What?? Girl.........

Brielle just stared at her.

Nicki: Why you didnt bring your sister up here while I was trying to cook?

Bri: Cus ma, che didnt want to come with me. I cant make her.

Nicki: What? You should've just picked her up. You do it any other time. Whats the problem now?

Brielle put her head down. Nicki knew something was wrong.

"Whats wrong?" Nicki said sitting on the bed next to Brielle. Brielle knew she had to tell her mother what was wrong but she knew she would be in trouble. She started to cry.

"Brielle, whats wrong? Talk to me." Nicki put her arm around Brielle's shoulder. Brielle just wanted to say it so she could get this over with.

"Mommy, my....my..." She couldnt get it out. She was crying.

"You what baby?" Nicki was on the verge of tears, she did not like to see her kids cry, especially if she didnt know the reason they were crying.

"My boyfrie-"

"YOUR WHAT??!!" Nicki stood up, Brielle cried some more. "Your boyfriend? What damn boyfriend?" Nicki stared at her. Brielle did not want to look into Nicki's eyes. "You have a boyfriend?"

"No."

"Then what are you talking about?"

"I did, he broke up with me."

Nicki was just staring at Brielle with her mouth open. Brielle finally stopped crying, Nicki spoke up."Since when did you have a boyfriend?"

"Since 8th grade." Brielle was now in the 9th grade.

"And why am I just finding out about this lil boy?"

"Cus, I didnt want you to act like you just did. I knew you told me I couldnt have a boyfriend unless you met him but he said he didnt want to meet you cus he was scared but I really liked him."

'So why you aint tell me he was scared?"

"Cus I thought you wouldnt let me date him if you didnt meet him"

"I have to tell your father."

"NOO!! please please no!"

"Okay." Nicki was gunna tell him anyway.

"So why did yall break up?"

"He broke up with me. He found another girlfriend. When he broke up with me he told me that him and the girl had been together for almost 5 months." Brielle started to cry again, she really loved him and he cheated on her with another girl. Brielle was heartbroken.

Nicki hugged her. "Im sorry baby, this is not that last time you'll get your heart broken, trust me. You'll be okay." Nicki kissed her forehead. "Dinner is ready if you're hungry." Nicki left out of Brielle's room to go tell Safaree.

In Brielle's Room:

Brielle picked up her phone and called her best friend D'ara to tell her what happened and to tell her how much she hate Davon's girlfriend. D'ara didnt answer. Little did Brielle know......D'ara (her best friend) was the girl Davon was cheating on her with.

Down Stairs With Nic and Faree:

"Safaree, dont be upset..." Nicki dont know why she told him not to be upset because she knew he would get upset anyway. She went to go sit next to him on the couch. Mari was laying on Safaree's lap sleep.

"Dont be mad about what?" Safaree asked.

"Brielle's boyfrie-"

"HER WHAT??!!" SB yelled. Mari stirred in her sleep, Nicki patted her back.

"Damn Safaree, cant you see she's sleep? I said Bri's boyfriend dumped her."

"What damn boyfriend? Let me go up there." Safaree was about to get up but Nicki held him down.

"Nooo, you arent gunna do shit but yell at her. Besides, I already talked to her it's fine now. She didnt want me to tell you but I had to." SB ignored what Nicki said and turned on the tv. He was mad. He didnt want his daughter with a boyfriend unless he met him. He found something to watch on tv, within 15mins he was sleep. Nicki was still watching tv, she got sleepy too. Nicki took Mari off of Safaree's lap and laid there. She put Mari on top of her. Mari was still sleep, Nicki fell asleep within 5mins.

Brielle walked downstairs to get some dinner, she saw them sprawled out on the couch. She went back up stairs to get her phone so she can take a picture. She come back down snapped the picture then continued her way into the kitchen.

The Beginning

"Mommy, mommy, mommy."  the child cried reaching for her mother.

"What baby? Im trying to cook dinner, I cant pick you up." the child cried some more.

"Briiiiiiiii! Come get your sister!!!" Nicki yelled. Brielle came running downstairs to get Kamari to stop her from crying.

Brielle was adopted, she was 14yrs old. Nicki adopted her when she was 2. Kamari is 1, she was Nicki and Safaree's first child together they had been married for 6yrs. Safaree wasnt home right now, he was working. Nicki was basically now a house wife, she didnt work and go to the studio now as much as she use to.

"Come on Mari. Why are you crying?" Brielle went to pick up her little sister but Kamari fought her away.

"ma, she dont want to come to me, im going back upstairs." Brielle went back into her room and left the child sitting in the middle of the floor crying.

"Mari, I cant pick you up so , you'll have to sit there and cry." Nicki finished cooking dinner. She started to get annoyed, she tried everything but Kamari wouldnt stop crying.

*On the phone:

Nicki: Safaree where are you? Nicki sounded fustrated. Safaree heard Mari crying in the background.

Safaree: Im on my way home baby, whats wrong? Why is Mari crying?

Nicki: Im trying to cook dinner but Mari keeps crying. I tried giving her her sippy cup and everything, she wont stop crying. I even called Bri to come down here and get her but she didnt want to go.

Safaree: Okay!, im pulling in the driveway now. Nicki hung up the phone. She was very irritated.

Safaree walked in the door and made his way to the kitchen. He heard Mari crying and walked into the kitchen and picked her up off the floor.

"Whats wrong baby girl? Why are you crying?" SB rocked her, she stopped crying instantly. Nicki rolled her eyes.

The thing is that Kamari was sleepy and she couldnt go to sleep without her mother or father. She fell asleep on Safaree's shoulder.

"Wow!" Nicki said as she turned the stove off and left the kitchen to go talk to Brielle.
